Oil Chiller for CNC, 4000 BTU, HABOR HBO-250PTSB9, 220V, 3PH with R-513A

Commonly used on CNC machining centers to cool spindle oil, hydraulic oil, or lubrication oil.

NOTE: We can convert this unit to the HABOR HBO-250PTSBM9 on request. The M variant includes an external sensor that traces temperature at the machine body casting.

Oil Type Requirements

This unit accepts mineral hydraulic oil and lubrication oil.

Do not use:

• Phosphate, chlorinated hydrocarbon, or fire-resistant hydraulic oil (e.g., water/glycol oil, W/O or O/W emulsion oil)
• Cutting oil, grinding oil, or water-soluble liquid
• Foodstuff, medicine, or strongly corrosive liquids
• Gasoline, kerosene, or organic solvents

Oil Viscosity

Recommended oil viscosity: 4 to 300 cSt.

As a general guide:

• If oil is between 10 to 40°C → ISO VG5 to ISO VG32 can be used
• If oil is between 20 to 40°C → ISO VG5 to ISO VG68 can be used
